Last Saturday we played our first pre season game against an Eastern Southland Baa Baa’s team featuring one of our own home grown players, a young Ben Hill. But the day wasn’t about Ben it was all about his Mum Peta! We did try to keep the day a surprise but Peta knew something was going on with all her family and friends around to see her presented with her Life Members badge and a special shawl. On behalf of our club we congratulate Peta on receiving our clubs highest honour in recognition of her many years of service to both the Junior & Senior Club.
