What a way to celebrate Brian Greer’s Life Membership! We couldn’t have scripted it better, with the afternoon starting with two wins against our favourite foe the Sharks, the Backbone winning 40-22 in the curtain raiser then the Premiers dominating 36-19, a Highlanders stacked Sharks outfit which had no answer for a Hawks team that took control early and never let up!
It was standing room only in the clubrooms for Brian’s life members blazer presentation with Brian’s family travelling from all over NZ to celebrate the occasion including Uncle Dave and his band from Wellington.
